Should I file with a government agency, with ServiceAnimalLaw, or both?

Many people do both. Filing with us is free and usually faster to hear back from, and we can help you decide whether a formal government complaint, a demand letter, or both make sense for your case.

Is there a deadline to file a complaint?

Yes, and it depends on the agency and the type of claim. Fair housing complaints with HUD generally must be filed within one year of the incident. Don't wait to find out; file with us as soon as you can.

We'll help you figure out which path fits
